Arun is a Clinical Psychologist and Sexologist with specialised training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, an EMDR Europe Facilitator, Level III Sensorimotor Therapy Practitioner, and holds a University Specialist degree in Clinical Hypnosis. He is the director of the Arun Mansukhani Emotional Regulation Centre in Málaga. He specializes in trauma and attachment.
He has delivered lectures and workshops at more than 30 national and international conferences, including three EMDRIA and five EMDR Europe conferences. He has been a trainer in postgraduate master’s programs and training courses for mental health professionals in various countries, such as Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, the Netherlands, England, Ireland, Scotland, Russia, India, Chile, Mexico, Peru, and the United States.
He has held various representational and advisory positions in national and international organizations, and he is currently an advisor for the European Citizens’ Panel on Anti-Hatred. In 2024, he was honoured as a Distinguished Alumnus by the Faculty of Psychology of his Alma Mater the University of Málaga. In 2023, he published the book Condenados a entendernos.
