Working with Anxiety in Children and Young People
The aim of this workshop is to facilitate a safe space for clinicians to reflect on how to work with anxiety in a creative way with children and young people
The aim of this workshop is to increase your knowledge, skills and techniques and to add to your current tool kit when working with anxiety.
In this workshop, we will be exploring anxiety in relation to children and young people and will consider the relationship to different theories including neuroscience and attachment.
We will consider the varying ways that anxiety may present and how this interlinks with developmental changes. Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to link the learning to case examples and to evaluate different ways of working, including creative methods, CBT and counselling.
The day is designed to provide theoretical and practical knowledge that will increase the practitioner’s resources when working with anxiety.
This workshop is facilitated by Catherine Edmunds and provides 6 CPD points.
