Vicky is an Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP, who works remotely with adults
Vicky is a friendly, reliable and professional therapist providing a supportive, confidential and non-judgemental service to those requiring support in navigating through their past and present difficulties.
She works in an integrative way, providing counselling support to those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem issues, relationship problems, trauma, sexual abuse and domestic abuse.
She enjoys helping her clients to build their self-awareness and therefore her practice incorporates talking therapy, CBT techniques, trauma stabilisation, visualisation techniques and psychoeducation. She feels these practices enable her clients to discover, understand and process their experiences and they therefore feel more able to move forward in their lives.
Vicky has extensive experience in providing counselling and trauma support to those working within the emergency services and the armed forces, experience in working with adults who have been sexually abused, and she regularly supports those diagnosed with neurodiverse conditions such as ADHD & ASD. She is certified to assess and diagnose ADHD in Adults.
Vicky is keen to pursue her interest in trauma, with a view to becoming a qualified EMDR practitioner.
