Heather studied Business Studies and Languages at Northumbria University followed by a postgraduate Executive Secretarial Linguists Diploma, after which she worked for a German company, manufacturer of breathing apparatus and gas detection equipment.
Heather lived in Egypt for 20 years and continued to work for the family business in the field of safety and gas detection often attending exhibitions to procure new products and set up new agencies. She also worked part time for the Egyptian Red Crescent, liaising with international Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and helped set up and deliver CPR courses to businesses across Egypt. Heather speaks Arabic and French fluently. She gets on well with everybody and customer satisfaction is important to her.
Upon her return to the UK, Heather worked for the Northumbria Probation Service until 2009 when she became a full time carer. She is a genuinely caring person who likes to help people. Heather joined Jesmond Therapy Centre as a part time Receptionist and enjoys meeting therapists and clients and making them feel welcome.
