Gillian is a member of the referrals team at Jesmond Therapy Centre and is one of the first points of contact for new clients beginning their therapy journey. Her role is to liaise with new clients to find out more about the issues they present with and for placing clients with an appropriate therapist. She also works part time as a Receptionist at the Centre.
Gillian has had a varied career from working in the NHS to managing a complaints department for a High Street Bank. Moving out of complaints into Learning & Development, Gillian became a coach and more recently trained as a Mental Health First aider. Her passion for reducing the stigma around Mental ill Health in the workplace, encouraged her to complete her level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills.
Having passed her Level 3 Diploma in Counselling skills she has now completed a foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling skills.
Gillian joined Jesmond Therapy centre in Jan 2022 and her aim is to create a warm welcome to both clients and therapists face to face and over the telephone and help you feel as relaxed as possible however you contact us.
