Holly is an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor and a member of the BACP and an accredited member of the UKCP.

Holly has worked in a G.P surgery for a number of years working with both short and long term with clients. Holly’s work is centred on helping clients find a way forward due to wide range of various issues such as depression, anxiety and trauma.

Holly is currently the manager of the counselling service at a local charity for those with eating disorders and eating distress. Holly has a keen interest in this area and works with clients to explore the underlying causes of their eating distress and to help the client gain an understanding of why they use food to cope with difficult emotions.

She believes in putting human needs and values at the heart of therapy. Working with an integrative approach with Transactional Analysis (T.A) as her main theoretical framework, drawing upon other theories such as: attachment and child developmental theories to help the client make sense of what is going on inside. This integrative approach enables her to tailor therapy to suit the client and their needs.
