Counsellor - Individual (Adult)
Frankie is a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor and provides a confidential, supportive service for individuals wanting to talk freely without any judgement. Stressful work and home lives, alongside increasing pressure to do more can feel overwhelming. It can leave us feeling anxious, affecting our confidence, self-esteem and our relationships. Frankie offers a place where you can speak to someone that is there just for you and can support you to develop strategies to manage better, alongside increasing confidence and developing a better sense of who you are and how you want to move forward in your life.
Frankie often works with people dealing with anxiety, work issues, bereavement, illness, people who are caring for others, those experiencing life transitions and relationship problems.
Frankie also works with people in the following specialist areas:
Infant and Pregnancy Grief and Loss
There are many reasons why you might be facing the difficult feelings that come with Infant and Pregnancy Loss. This might be because you yourself have experienced a stillbirth, miscarriage, termination or the death of a baby after birth. You may also be dealing with a diagnosis during pregnancy, infertility or IVF treatment.
Frankie sees men and women, parents as well as wider family members and professionals who work and support families in this area.
Creative Professionals working in the Performing Arts
Having worked in the Arts with Theatre and Film Companies, on Arts Festivals and with Touring Companies, Frankie has a unique understanding of the industry specific issues that can arise from working in this environment. These can include dealing with the effects of inconsistent work, financial difficulties, social pressure, long and unsocial hours, anxiety and burnout. Creatively there is also pressure to deliver, dealing with traumatic content, the physical and mental strain of intensive work and dealing with complex relationship dynamics.
It can be a big decision to consider coming for counselling. Together we can talk about what you are hoping to gain from coming and whether you want shorter term Counselling or more in-depth, longer-term Psychotherapy.
Choosing a counsellor or psychotherapist can be a big decision and it is important to feel that the person you choose is right for you.
