Counselling: I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and in the telling of our stories. It is in the telling that we reassess, re-evaluate and understand why we feel and act and think the way we do.   I offer a safe, confidential professional relationship in which the concerns of the client, which can feel overwhelming, frightening and confusing, can be shared and explored, leading to new insights, perspectives and possibilities.  I believe in the importance of self awareness and self understanding and help my clients by facilitating this personal growth within therapy.

My counselling experience is within Mental Health and Addiction Services, Secondary School and Behaviour Support Services.   As an MBTI facilitator I work with medical teams, doctors and nurses, teams within the voluntary sector and a variety of individuals for personal development.

Myers Briggs (MBTI) Psychometric Testing:  using one of the most widely used instruments for understanding your personality type, I provide you with one to one personalized feedback.   MBTI allows people to see themselves more closely and understand how their personal preferences affect the way they relate to others and the world.  The information enhances understanding of yourself, your motivations, your natural strengths and potential areas for growth. It can also be used for career exploration and development, relationship counselling, mid-life transitions, team building, problem solving.

I am passionate about ongoing self awareness and personal development, and find the Myers Briggs tool invaluable in facilitating personal growth within therapy, whilst respecting peoples’ individuality.

I am also a BUPA registered therapist and EAP provider.
