Hazel started out working within a clinical setting involving cardiac surgery, both in the UK and New Zealand. Over time she felt that she was seeing clients at the end of their suffering and wanted to be involved with a more natural, holistic and preventative side of health care.
After years of having an interest and completing short courses on various styles, she chose to take her diploma in Raynor massage. She believed in the philosophy and practical aspect of the approach to massage and well being. Hazel believes that to be truly well we must be treated on all levels……. physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically.
Raynor style achieves this as it is very adaptable, working from a philosophy that every treatment is unique for that client, be it deep tissue or relaxation massage. Hazel also added reiki to her tools in order to help clients that needed more emphasis on the energetic balance in their lives.
